Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy is committed to providing safe, secure, and timely delivery of eligible prescription medications, specialty medications, medical supplies, and over-the-counter products.
Prescription orders are processed after all applicable clinical, legal, insurance, payment, and pharmacy requirements have been satisfied.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy is not responsible for delays caused by weather, common carriers, supply chain disruptions, incorrect shipping information, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Patients are responsible for providing accurate shipping information and ensuring that medications and products are promptly received and properly stored upon delivery.
Pharmacist Consultation Requirement
A pharmacist consultation is offered before dispensing prescription medications in accordance with applicable federal and Florida laws and professional standards. Patients may decline counseling where permitted by law. Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy reserves the right to provide additional counseling, clinical review, or consultation when deemed necessary to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
All prescriptions are subject to pharmacist review and verification prior to dispensing. Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy reserves the right to delay dispensing, delivery, or shipment until all clinical, legal, safety, and regulatory requirements have been satisfied.
Temperature-Sensitive Medications
Certain medications require refrigeration or special handling during transit. Patients are responsible for promptly retrieving and properly storing medications upon delivery according to the manufacturer's labeling and pharmacist instructions.
Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy is not responsible for product integrity when packages are left unattended after confirmed delivery or when storage instructions are not followed.
Controlled Substance Policy
Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy dispenses controlled substances in accordance with applicable federal and state laws and professional pharmacy standards.
As a matter of pharmacy policy, Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy does not ship, mail, courier, or deliver Schedule II, Schedule III, Schedule IV, or Schedule V controlled substances.
Controlled substance prescriptions must be picked up in person by the patient or an authorized representative as permitted by applicable law. Identification and additional verification may be required before dispensing.
Delivery Confirmation
Ownership and responsibility for shipped products transfer to the patient upon documented delivery by the carrier to the shipping address provided by the patient. Signature confirmation may be required for certain shipments.
Return & Refund Policy
Prescription Medications
For patient safety, quality assurance, and regulatory reasons, prescription medications that have been dispensed, shipped, delivered, or picked up generally cannot be returned, exchanged, credited, or refunded.
This policy applies to:
Prescription medications
Specialty medications
Compounded medications
Refrigerated medications
Controlled substances
This policy applies regardless of whether the medication package is opened or unopened.
Exceptions may be made only when required by applicable law or when Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy determines that corrective action is appropriate due to a verified dispensing error or other pharmacy-related issue.
Compounded Medications
Compounded medications are custom-prepared for an individual patient and are generally not eligible for return, exchange, credit, or refund once preparation has begun or the medication has been dispensed.
Dispensing Errors
If a patient believes a dispensing error has occurred, Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy should be contacted immediately. All concerns will be reviewed by a licensed pharmacist. If a dispensing error is confirmed, Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy will take appropriate corrective action in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
Medical Supplies & Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
Unused, unopened medical supplies and durable medical equipment may be eligible for return within thirty (30) days of purchase with proof of purchase, subject to inspection, manufacturer restrictions, and pharmacy approval.
The following items are generally not eligible for return:
Opened or used products
Personal care items
Custom-fit products
Special-order items
Products prohibited from return by law or manufacturer policy
Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable.
Over-the-Counter (OTC) Products
Unused and unopened OTC products in their original packaging may be eligible for return within thirty (30) days of purchase with proof of purchase. Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy reserves the right to deny returns that do not meet eligibility requirements.
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments
Patients should inspect shipments promptly upon receipt and notify Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy of any shipping discrepancies, damaged items, or incorrect products within seven (7) days of delivery.
Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy is not responsible for packages reported lost or stolen after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier.
Right to Refuse Service
Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy reserves the right to refuse, limit, or deny any return, exchange, refund, shipment, delivery, or dispensing request in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, payer requirements, accreditation standards, and professional pharmacy practice standards.
Changes to This Policy
Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy reserves the right to modify this Shipping, Delivery, Return & Refund Policy at any time. Any updates will become effective upon posting to the pharmacy's website.
