Now Hiring For Our Tampa, Florida Location

MemorialRx Website Mockup.png

Why Memorialrx?

Memorialrx is opening a new location this year, built on the experience of owners Amir and Albeir, who have worked together as pharmacists for over 25 years. That depth of experience is exactly what we're bringing here — a pharmacy that knows patients by name, not just their prescription number, backed by real clinical expertise in specialty medications and compounding.

We're building a close-knit team from the ground up, where pharmacists and technicians are trusted with real responsibility and given the tools to do their best clinical work. If you care about accuracy, patient care, and genuine connection — whether you're behind the counter, in the lab, or on the phone — we'd love for you to help us open this new chapter.

Bilingual English/Spanish applicants and candidates with non-sterile compounding experience are especially encouraged to apply.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Memorial Rx Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our Tampa team. In this role, you'll be the clinical backbone of a patient-focused, independent pharmacy — verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, overseeing non-sterile compounding, long term care, 340B, specialty medications, and mentoring technicians and interns. This is a hands-on role suited to a pharmacist who wants to know their patients by name and take ownership of the quality of care they provide, not just fill a queue.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to stand, move, and work efficiently
    in a working pharmacy environment

  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license
    (RPh)
    in the State of Florida

  • PharmD or equivalent degree from
    an accredited pharmacy program

  • Strong working knowledge of pharmacy
    law and controlled substance compliance

  • Comfort working with pharmacy management software (e.g., Prime Rx, Framework, and other similar software vendors)

  • Excellent communication skills and
a genuine commitment to patient care

Preferred: Non-sterile and sterile compounding experience (USP <795>, USP <797>, USP <800>), conversational-to-fluent Spanish, immunization certification, and prior specialty or long-term-care pharmacy experience. Plus knowledge of sterile ops and cGMP, and overall pharmacy oversight in a growing setting.

  • Verify, dispense, and counsel on prescription and over-the-counter medications with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Coordinate with insurance and billing staff
on prior authorizations and claims issues as needed

  • Review and compound non-sterile preparations, including capsules, creams, ointments, gels, suspensions, troches, and hormone or veterinary formulations, in accordance with USP <795> standards

  • Perform clinical checks for drug interactions,
    contraindications, and dosing appropriateness

  • Counsel patients directly — in English and, where applicable, in Spanish — on medication use, side effects, and adherence

  • Administer immunizations and vaccinations as needed

  • Support Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
    reviews and patient care planning

  • Oversee and mentor pharmacy technicians,
    interns, and training-program staff

  • Ensure compliance with controlled substance handling, documentation, State Board of Pharmacy regulations in addition to all applicable federal regulatory requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Pharmacy Technician registration with the Florida Board of Pharmacy

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Comfort with pharmacy software and basic computer systems

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing and Sales Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

Memorial Rx is growing beyond Tampa, and we're looking for a Marketing Specialist to help tell that story. You'll build our presence across social media, email, and local community outreach, working closely with our pharmacists to translate clinical expertise into content patients actually want to read. This role suits someone equally comfortable planning a content calendar and showing up to a community health event.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of experience in marketing, social media management, or communications

  • Strong writing skills with an eye for clear, patient-friendly copy

  • Comfortable with content and scheduling tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite)

For many of our patients — particularly seniors and those managing chronic conditions — you may be the only in-person contact they have with the pharmacy. • Familiarity with the Tampa metro area

  • Punctual, courteous, and comfortable interacting directly with patients
